Entrepreneurship
PROBLEMS
Entrepreneurs have increased massively in Africa, especially as small businesses spring up daily due to unemployment, illiteracy, and a high rate of poverty. It is saddening that most of these small businesses do not strive through a year or two thereby causing business failure to the entrepreneurs. Most of these challenges are:
Lack of start-up capital or finance
Lack of financial knowledge
Entrepreneurs of SMEs are often faced with the inability to assess finance.
Lack of mentorship and incubation opportunities for young entrepreneurs
Limited access to market information and business growth opportunities.
