No matter what you you have.
No matter what you you have.
Richard George Foundation is a youth-focused organization committed to raising changemakers who will transform Africa through our key programmatic areas: Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Education, Mentorship, Skill Acquisition and Development. At RGF, we firmly believe that empowering youth and fostering inclusivity are essential pillars for economic progress and nation-building. Our innovative programmes ignite a transformative mindset among young people, inspiring them to be changemakers with integrity and champion positive change within their communities. We work hand-in-hand with the government, organizations, and individuals to equip young Africans to establish robust systems and structures vital for sustainable business practices, career development, and overall well-being, which ultimately drive individual, societal, and national growth. Through our multi-faceted approach, we are committed to advancing environmental, social, and economic aspects of sustainability and addressing pressing challenges across our key programmatic focus areas. Each of our initiatives is designed to tackle specific obstacles, fostering tangible solutions that elevate young Africans.

RGF is not just imagining a brighter future—we are actively creating it by raising changemakers and empowering the next generation.
RGF aims to conduct its business with honesty and integrity and expects employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, and stakeholders (including partners and sponsorship organisations) to maintain the highest ethical standards. RGF recognises the obligations it has towards the entire community.
RGF seeks to fulfil those obligations according to the original principles laid out in the Nolan Report on standards of behaviour in public life. These principles are set out below and represent our core values:
Employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, stakeholders (partners and sponsorship organisations) of RGF should take decisions solely in terms of the public interest. They should not do so to gain financial or other material benefits for themselves, their family, or their friends.
Employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, stakeholders (partners and sponsorship organisations) of RGF should not place themselves under any financial or other obligation to outside individuals or organisations that might influence them in the performance of their official duties.
In carrying out public business, including making public appointments, awarding contracts, or recommending individuals for rewards and benefits, employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, and stakeholders (partners and sponsorship organisations) of RGF should make choices on merit.
Employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, stakeholders (partners and sponsorship organisations) of RGF are ultimately accountable for their decisions and actions to the public and must submit themselves to whatever scrutiny is appropriate to their office.
Employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, stakeholders (partners and sponsorship organisations) of RGF should be as open as possible about all the decisions and actions that they take. They should provide reasons for their decisions and restrict information only when the wider public interest clearly demands it.
Employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, and stakeholders (partners and sponsorship organisations) of RGF have a duty to declare any private interests related to their public duties and to take steps to resolve any conflicts arising in a manner that protects the public interest. Any conflict must be notified in writing to RGF and updated as appropriate.
Employees, volunteers, mentees, mentors, stakeholders (partners and sponsorship organisations) of RGF should promote and support these principles by leadership and example.
At RGF, our goal is to work collaboratively with our various stakeholders to help some of Africa’s young and talented graduates fulfil their career aspirations, including start-up aspirations and entrepreneurship.
RGF aims to connect mentees’ training with work placements, internships, and employment opportunities to enhance their skills, competencies, and capabilities. This approach benefits local businesses, communities, and creates new employees, securing a talent pipeline.
RGF aims to leverage our global network of partners to provide young graduate entrepreneurs with an integrated package of financial and non- financial support to assist them in becoming business leaders and in starting and growing sustainable businesses that can scale and provide a return on investment.
At RGF, we seek to deliver enhanced education with an emphasis on developing a collaborative and cooperative environment that is responsive to the needs of young people and the circumstances in which they live, in order to appropriately equip them for involvement in social and economic life.
